Yesterday was the final session of the Better Together Programme that our P6/7 pupils have been taking part in over the last few weeks to develop peer support.
We really enjoyed getting to spend the morning with our friends from Bellaghy Primary School
A huge thank you to Shaunagh for leading the programme and being such an inspiring role model.
This programme has taught our boys and girls all about:
✅️ The thoughts, feelings, behaviour cycle
✅️ Communication- the importance of speaking out about how we feel.
✅️ Showing empathy- asking others how they feel
✅️ Managing change and uncertainty by showing gratitude
✅️ Identity- being connected within our community improves our wellbeing.
