P2/3 have been learning about persuasive writing as their writing genre focus this term.
They were presented with a tough choice- save the forest or build a new toy store.
In the chamber today, our school council listened carefully to the persuausve arguments and then came to a decision to save the forest!
The school council really liked how the boys and girls described the forest, explained how important the forest is for wildlife and that it provides us with oxygen. They also reminded us that we have lots of fun in the forest too. As an Eco School, the forest is very important to us.
