STAR Awards
Well done to our STAR Award winners. You have been displaying our school values so well this term.
Headteacher's Award
This girl could receive the Headteracher's Award every week but her performance in our Christmas Show was amazing. You were born for the stage.
Subject Awards
This year we are focusing on devloping our mental maths skills, our writing across the different genres and our coding and computational thinking.
We celebrated our achievements in these areas with 3 new awards: Maths Whizz, Digital Genius and Wonderful Writer. Well done to our boys and girls who received these awards.
Seamus Heaney Christmas Card Competiton
It was such a pleasure to welcome Marie from the Seamus Heaney Centre to award the prizes to our pupils in P5 who were winners of the Christmas Card Competition.
We also welcomed Mr Devlin to our assembly to thank him for his years of service to SJB as Chairperson of the Board of Governors.
And a huge thank you to our parent Mrs McCann from Vulcan Burners, who donated a brand new PE kit to our school. We can't wait to wear it at our next sporting event!
